This three-hour Law and Ethics workshop will provide participants with an understanding of the legal and ethical standards that apply to the use of clinical touch. In addition, participants will learn how to safely and effectively utilize touch in a clinically effective way.

Both sessions of this workshop--Kinky Sex Ed and Poly 101--are intended to help fill the gaps in clinical education and understanding. During this workshop, we will have our eye on ethics as we explore considerations for clinician self-disclosure to clients. Self-disclosure has several dimensions, including clinical, therapeutic, technical, and, in some cases, legal or regulatory. We will examine the nature of self-disclosure, including potential benefits and risks.
By the end of this training, clinicians will leave with a diverse toolbox for BDSM healing, along with the knowledge and cognitive frameworks to adapt these principles to their specific clinical populations.
